Local moves: You must pay the full amount once your move is complete. We accept cash and all credit/debit cards. A 3% convenience fee will be added to all credit/debit card payments.

Interstate moves: 10% deposit is required to reserve the move. The rest of the payment is due upon delivery on the day of the move.

Yes, It is your responsibility to provide us with valid parking. Any parking tickets received during the move will be at your own expense.

We are affiliated with Boston City Hall and offer this service at a small fee. Must be two weeks before your move.
Yes, we have a 3-hour minimum. After that 15min increments will charge you.
Our hourly rate includes movers, an all equipped truck, moving blankets, tolls, fuel, mileage, and basic value protection.
It’s basic value protection that covers $0.60 per lbs per article. If you would like to get a full reimbursement if your items get damaged, you would have to purchase third party insurance.
Upward Moving offers assembly/disassembly at no additional cost other than an hourly rate.
Yes, We can hoist items when there is no other moving option available. However, extra heavy items might have to be hoisted with a crane. Our hoisting fee starts at $20 per item, per flight, and will depend on the size, weight, and number of flights. Customers must contact Upward Moving within a minimum of 48 hours notice regarding hoisting needs. Please note that our movers have a right to decline the hoisting of any items if hoisting may cause any damage to property/items or puts movers in danger.
Any furniture items with drawers or cabinets should be emptied beforehand by the customer unless you requested packing service for your move.
Any items that are explosive, hazardous, flammable are dangerous and illegal for movers to transport.
